A small arrow appears briefly in the middle. Indicate as quickly and accurately as you can which way it points: F for left, J for right – on a phone or tablet, tap the left or right field below the picture. Sometimes shapes appear briefly at the edge. They do not matter for the task; attend only to the arrow. The task has a short practice and three parts with breaks and takes about six minutes.
In a classroom session, the explanation and the results appear after the instructor releases them.
