Support

Support the project

Classperiment is free for lecturers and students, and it stays that way. If it helps your teaching, you can support it voluntarily.

Why it stays free

Classperiment runs classroom experiments on the students' own phones and laptops: no accounts, no licences, no paywall. Every lecturer and every student should be able to use it, at a large university as much as in a small seminar or a school.

That is why the platform stays free for teaching, and why no feature is held back for people who pay. Support changes nothing about what you or your students can do.

What support pays for

Running the service costs money and time: the server and the domain, backups, the upkeep of eighty-eight tasks across browsers and phones, and the work on the new experiments that colleagues ask for.

A voluntary contribution helps to carry those costs. Think of it as a tip for the project, not as a payment for a service.

How to support

Pick whichever you prefer. Both open an external page in a new tab; any amount is welcome.

Ko-fi and PayPal are run by their own providers with their own terms and privacy policies.

Classperiment itself stores nothing about it: no name, no amount, no account. Supporting the project is never linked to a session or a result.

Other ways to help

  • Tell colleagues who teach cognitive psychology about Classperiment.
  • Send feedback and wishes: the wish list on this site collects the experiments lecturers are missing.
  • Institutions that would like to support the project in another way, for example through a teaching grant or a cooperation, can write to marian.sauter@uni-ulm.de.
