Decide quickly whether a word names something pleasant or unpleasant; a letter string comes before each word
This is a solo practice run: your results stay in this browser tab and are never sent anywhere. To contribute to a class result, join a live session with a code instead.
This task is new to Classperiment and has not yet been fully tested. Issues may occur in the procedure or scoring. The expected effect may also fail to appear reliably.
Task time: 4–6 min, pauses extra
Decide as quickly and accurately as possible whether the lower word names something pleasant or unpleasant. Before it, a meaningless string of letters appears each time. Respond to the lower word. The keys for this are shown at the bottom of the screen.
You can also tap the two areas at the bottom. Keep this page in front while the words are shown. You can skip the task at any time.
In a classroom session, the explanation and results appear after the instructor releases them.
