This task is new to Classperiment and has not yet been fully tested. Issues may occur in the procedure or scoring. The expected effect may also fail to appear reliably.
Task time: 2–2.5 min; slow up to about 4.5
You will study two short word lists. Try to remember the words. Afterwards, decide whether each test word appeared in either list. Judge the exact word, and choose the answer that seems more likely even if you are unsure. Please do not take notes.
Answer with the buttons Seen and Not seen or with the keys F and J; which side stands for Seen is shown before the practice. You have up to 6 seconds for each answer.
Keep this page in front while the word lists are shown: if the page is hidden or another window comes to the front, the run ends. In a classroom session, the explanation and results appear after the instructor releases them.
