Forward and backward immediate memory span

This task is new to Classperiment and has not yet been fully tested. Issues may occur in the procedure or scoring. The expected effect may also fail to appear reliably.
Task time: about 5 min
You will see short digit sequences, one digit at a time. Remember the digits and their order.
When the response field appears, enter the entire sequence using your keyboard or the on-screen buttons. Use Delete last digit or Backspace to correct a mistake. Press Submit or Enter when you are ready.
When time runs out, the sequence entered so far will be scored automatically. Please do not take notes. You will receive two different sequences at each length.
In one direction you enter the digits in the same order, in the other in reverse order. Each direction starts with a short practice sequence.
